Authentic
Authenticity is the quality of being sincere, trustworthy, genuine or real. It is a positive attribute that many would aspire to have. Authenticity is grounded in honesty. There is no hiding or pretence. As Bill Hybels writes, “authenticity means consistency – between words and actions, and between claimed values and actual priorities.”
Family
A family that is brought together by God, that clothes themselves with love, that values each other, and that enjoys being together.
Equipping
It is our belief that everyone at South West is a minister. Every one of us has a part to play in the mission of making disciples for Jesus Christ. We are always looking for ways to equip people so they can be effective ministers of God.
Worship
Worship as a lifestyle. It’s more than music. It’s a choice we make. It’s intimate between us and God. And it is definitely extravagant and enthusiastic.
Generational
We believe in connecting the generations, for which each is valuable and equal before God and man. Each generation needs the generation above it to learn from and in turn, needs to reach out to the generation following, teaching them what they have learnt.
Visionary
A visionary is simply someone who can see beyond themselves. It is someone who can see something that others may struggle to see. But a truly visionary person isn’t content to sit and remain idle. Having seen, they now set out to turn that vision into a reality.
